チャリテイー花器販売会

2020年8月12日　片山先生宅での花器販売会に行ってきた。ご自宅を新築されたのを契機に整理され、収納しきれない花器を販売された。売上金の一部は2020年豪雨災害義援金に寄付されるというもの。新しいご自宅は2世帯用にコンパクトに使いやすいように作られていたが、1階は紅草先生用のお習字と生け花教室。家じゅうあちこちに花器収納用のスペースが取ってあり、その大きさにびっくり。まだ、別に預けてあるのもあるとのこと。さすが！！

少し変わった花器が欲しかったので、マルチグラスの大小の貝のセット、ざる風の竹かご、高足酒杯型の花器をいただいてきた。高足の花器とマルチグラスの貝は同じオレンジだったので、早速ほうずきを活け変えた。翌週は栗だったので、ざる風の竹かごが秋らしく早速役に立った。

I went to the flower vases charity sale at Katayama sensei's residence on Aug. 12, 2020. Since he built the new house, he wanted to sell the vases overflowed and also wanted to donate some money to the victims by the flood in June. His new house was well designed for 2 families included his daughter's family. The 1st flour is the class room for Ikebana and Japanese calligraphy by his wife, Koso sensei. I was surprised how many and big store rooms prepared for the flower containers and vases. Not only in his house, but also they rented the room to store some. No wonder he is one of the main instructors of HQ !!

I bought a set of multi-glass shell-shaped containers, a bamboo colander-shaped container and a container with tool foot for free. I arranged a Chinese lantern plant with a small shell-shaped container and a tool-foot container as they were all same orange color. Next week, a bamboo colander-shaped container was just suitable for the chestnuts showing the autumn mood.
