盗難事件

2020年8月24日月曜日、20日の栗がダメになったので、残りの花材に芒やエノコログサ、スプレー菊を加えて、大きめの籠に秋のイメージで活けておいた。すかし百合もなんとか木曜まで持ってくれればいいと思っていた。水曜の夜8時、散歩から帰ってきた時まではまだ大丈夫だった。ところが木曜朝見ると、百合が全部と白い菊が抜き取られて無残な姿になっていた。事務所スタッフも心当たりがないという。今までにも枝1本とか花一本とか、花材を表記した札が失くなったことはあるが、ここまでごっそりは初めて。この無残な姿は私のせいではないので、立札を出した。「お花が枯れかけた場合でも　断りなく抜いていかないよう　おねがいいたします。」

何人かから、びっくり、ひどいね、などと声をかけられた。Yさん（？）は「抜いていくというご親切な方がいらっしゃいますね。」と笑いながら話しかけてきた。一瞬驚いたが、笑いながら「そうですね。」と返した。Yさんのキャラクターはなかなかユニークで面白い。こうやって物事を一度ひっくり返してみることのできる人は、心に余裕があり人生の達人だろう。

I arranged lily, gentian, spray chrysanthemum, Japanese pampas grass and foxtail in a bigger bamboo basket to create an autumn atmosphere on Monday Aug. 24, 2020. I was wishing they would alive till Thursday. When I came back from walking at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, they were still OK. However on Thursday morning, I found lilies and white chrysanthemums were taken away and the arrangement was left in ugly shape. Office stuffs had no idea about it. I have had same kind of experiences several times before, but this time is shameless. Then I put up a sign "Please do not take away the flowers even if they are going to wither."

Some residents talked to me "What a surprising thing!" "How shameless it is!". Ms.Y(?) came up to me with smile and said "How kind the person who took away the flowers is!" A moment I was surprised but soon I replied with smile "Definitely!" Ms.Y's character is quite unique and charming. A person who can see the matter in another way has flexible mind and must be a master of living life.
